When John Denver wrote "Take me home country, country roads" he was believed to be eating a Bobak's Denver sandwich. Don't take our word for it, but the song came out amazing and we understand why now... its because of our delicious Boneless Ham!
If you don't believe us, give it a try. Maybe you'll find some inspiration for that project you're working on or maybe you won't. All we know is John Denver did!
1 tbsp. butter (divided) 2 tbsp. onion, chopped 1 green bell pepper, chopped 4 eggs, slightly beaten 1½ c. cheddar cheese, shredded (divided) ½ c. Bobak’s Smoked Boneless Ham, diced salt and pepper, to taste 12 slices whole grain bread, toasted and buttered
Saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add to eggs along with 1 cup of the Cheddar cheese, ham, salt and pepper.
Mix well. Preheat and butter a griddle. Use ¼ cup mixture for each sandwich. Fry until eggs are set; turn and fry on other side.
Sprinkle remaining ½ cup cheese over tops. Serve on whole grain bread.
