Beer Sausage Sandwich

Its game day fellas and you know the boys are coming over which means you need to cook up something that will keep their mouths full (mainly to prevent them from talking). Try our beer sausage sandwiches that are great, bite-sized appetizers for all guests.

1½ cups beef broth, canned 1 c. dark beer 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 lb. Bobak’s Krakow Sausage, thinly sliced thin slices of Pastrami 4 Pretzel Buns 4 slices swiss cheese mustard, your choice of type

Cooking Instructions:

Preheat the broiler to High setting. In a saucepan, over medium heat, combine the broth, beer and Worcestershire sauce and bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Separate the slices of Beer Sausage and drop each into the sauce, allowing the pastrami to heat through.

Place open buns on an non-greased cookie sheet or half-sheet. Place Beer Sausage slices on one side of the bun, (reserving the cooking sauce). Place cheese on the opposite side of the bun.

Broil for 1 to 2 minutes until cheese melts. Remove from broiler and spread mustard on Beer Sausage. Serve, cut into pieces and with bowls of the sauce for dipping.
